piano lessons

i've decided to take up learning (or starting) to play the piano.

i have a keyboard, i have an adult beginner book and i have my mom, a pianist, as well as a friend who is willing to do lessons with me.

my influences are philip glass, tori amos, the smiths, moby, fiona apple, beethoven, elton john, coldplay, Comptine D' un Autre Ete, and so i don't really know that much about music..... but i want to learn!!!!
